We need a PTA Vice President! Please let us know if you are able to help us with a sucessful second half of the school year!

It's also time for 2010-2011 Board Nominations. Without PTA Officers for next year the PTA will cease to exsist at Paloma. What a terrible loss that would be for our community! If you are thinking about being on the PTA Board next year and have any questions, please contact Cyndi, Mary, or Nicolle. We would be happy to answer any questions!

Classroom Liaisons
We are in urgent need of Classroom Liaisons. We need parents who can maintain a critical link between teachers and parents in each class and the PTA. Each Classroom Liaison has a parents whose responsibilities are to:
Communicate to other parents in your child's class about what's going on within the PTA on a more personal level and to act as a point person for the class. Classroom Liaisons are encouraged to attend PTA meetings, communicate with the teachers and parents in that grade level or class, either in person, by telephone, or by email, on an as needed basis. 
 
Please consider helping as a vital link in our school.

As part of our Fundraisers, we were rewarded with an exciting and educational BMX Show. The students were amazed at the tricks as well as given important bike safety tips, a drug free lesson, and exmples of why it is so important to stay in school and listen to their teachers. It was an unforgettable day for all. Enjoy the pictures!

Without you, we won't be able to make any of the events happen.
 Please contact us if you think you can help, when you can be available, and what you would prefer to help with.  Many of us
 working or not, are crunched for time. Most activities we hold have oppurtunities designed to help make the most of our precious spare
hours.

The Kyrene de la Paloma PTA, referred to as Paloma PTA, is a member
 of the Arizona PTA and National PTA. PTA's differ from PTO's in that a
 PTA is governed by the State and National PTA's bylaws. These bylaws are updated annually and are available for review. If you should have
 any questions of concerns regarding this please feel free to contact an
 officer of the board.
